Summary
Thirty years inside regulated financial institutions — Morgan Stanley, Deutsche
Bank, Citi and BNY Mellon — delivering the systems that governance frameworks are written about,
and working inside the controls that govern them. Now building the governance itself: a
five-level AI-governance maturity framework anchored to NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI
Act, with a live self-assessment tool, alongside a thirteen-paper published library on directing
AI and reclaiming data sovereignty. Fluent enough in the technology to challenge an engineering
team on its own terms, and experienced enough in delivery to know which controls survive contact
with a shipping roadmap.
Experience
Praxis — Founder & COO
Jul 2026 – Present
AI-native product studio: applied AI, AI-governance tooling, data-sovereignty consulting, and technical publishing.
- Built a five-level AI-governance maturity framework anchored to NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001
and the EU AI Act, covering the full use-case lifecycle — intake, risk classification,
approval, monitoring, retirement — and published it with a live self-assessment tool so a
firm can locate its own maturity and see the next step.
- Authored a thirteen-paper technical library on directing AI and reclaiming data
sovereignty: where data physically lives, what trains on it, what deletion actually means,
third-party and embedded-AI exposure, and prompt injection as a live operational risk for
non-technical staff.
- Designed the Digital Exposure Audit, a privacy-remediation consulting line for family-law
attorneys and at-risk clients, built on consent-only scope, formal written authorization and
documented data-handling controls.
- Shipped six applications to the App Store, the first four in under two months, as a one-person
executive team, directing fleets of AI agents in place of an engineering staff — the
practical basis for governing AI-assisted development rather than theorizing about it.
- Built Odyssey, a reading and mathematics game for
grades 3–8 — thirty-six illustrated adventures, 1,800 reading questions and 4,500 math problems, tiered on-device tutoring
and practice that adapts to the child — architected to collect nothing: no account, no
advertising, and no student data leaving the device.
MPCH — Business Operations Manager
Nov 2024 – Jun 2026
Privacy-focused technology company at the intersection of applied AI and data sovereignty.
- Helped author the security playbook for a private-key custody and resilience solution —
secure key management, physical security and disaster recovery — for institutional
counterparties.
- Evaluated and vetted applied-AI tooling and infrastructure before operational use,
building hands-on fluency in AI governance and data sovereignty as a practice rather than a
policy document.
- Owned client onboarding and ongoing client services for the firm's institutional
blockchain (Canton Network) engagements, serving as the operational point of contact across
delivery.
BNY Mellon — Director of Product Delivery, Digital Assets Technology
2021 – 2023
World's largest custody bank, with over $46 trillion in assets under custody.
- Led end-to-end delivery of a new digital-assets initiative, reporting directly to the
Global Head of Digital Assets.
- Drove vendor and partner relationships, assessed risk with internal security teams, and
sat on the disaster-recovery committee to ensure proper controls.
- Drove a 12-person cross-functional team of direct reports to hit delivery milestones on
schedule, building blockchain and digital-asset products within the scope set by product
management.
Minorcan Construction Group — Market Manager, Orlando
2017 – Oct 2024
Statewide restoration and disaster-recovery contractor; the Orlando operation ran through its subsidiary, Florida Roof Specialists.
- Founded and ran the Orlando market operation end to end — client onboarding, inspections,
P&L and full-scope project delivery — liaising with insurance carriers, attorneys and
public adjusters.
Mass Communications — Business Development Manager
2016 – 2017
- Opened new business in a competitive market reporting to the CIO, building C-level
relationships and expanding key accounts with service offerings that diversified business
lines.
MindSHIFT / Ricoh — Senior National Account Manager
2012 – 2017
- Managed a nationwide portfolio of ~85 SaaS and data-center accounts, using KPIs to
identify growth sectors and partnering with sales and engineering to maximize new revenue.
Millennium Consulting Group, LLC — Business Partner / Owner & PMO Manager
2004 – 2012
- Built and ran an IT management and consulting firm delivering change management,
application remediation and migration across multiple client locations, leading a distributed
team of project managers.
Deutsche Bank — Senior Project Manager, Windows Migration
2003 – 2004
- Steered an enterprise operating-system migration, managing Windows and Office XP
deployment for Asset Management across North America.
Morgan Stanley — Manager of Distributed Systems Service, North America
2000 – 2002
- Chaired the firm's post-9/11 disaster-recovery and business-continuity team across seven
tri-state buildings; directed Level-2 PC services and remediation of 3,000+ applications for
enterprise Windows/Office deployment.
