OUR MISSION

Adoption without surrender.

The next decade belongs to the people and businesses who learn to direct AI. One person with deep domain knowledge and well-directed AI can now build what used to take a funded team — software, systems, entire product lines. That power is real, it's here, and most of the working world hasn't touched it yet.

But the way most of the world is adopting AI — pouring their lives, their customers, and their operations into whichever service is closest — builds a dependency they don't understand and can't undo. Your data is your leverage, your privacy, and increasingly your identity. Handing it over shouldn't be the price of admission.

Praxis exists to prove there's a better way — and to teach it. We build real products with AI-augmented methods and publish exactly how. We help businesses automate while keeping sovereignty over their data: knowing what lives where, what it's worth, and how to take it back. We turn hard-won expertise into software, win real efficiencies without quiet surrender, and hand the method to anyone willing to learn it.

Data sovereignty isn't a slide in our deck — it's the infrastructure this company is built on. Every app we ship is written, stored, and backed up on equipment we own.

Redundant by design

Source code, client work, and archives live on our own network storage — redundant disk arrays with scheduled integrity scrubs, so a failed drive is an errand, not an incident.

Backed up in layers

Continuous local backups, scheduled replication to a second machine on a separate array, and an encrypted copy that leaves the building. Three copies, two devices, one off-site — the rule we publish, applied to ourselves.

Keys held separately

The off-site copy is encrypted, and its keys are kept in custody away from the hardware they protect. Lost or stolen equipment doesn't mean lost control of what was on it.

And the apps themselves collect nothing: no account with us, no analytics, and no claim file on a server of ours. What each app does send is narrow, deliberate and disclosed — a product barcode you choose to scan, to identify the item by name and brand — and in ClaimForge, to look up a replacement cost; a coarse location, for a storm check — and each app's privacy policy lists exactly what it sends. They are all on the privacy pages. Roofing Expert's optional crew sharing runs through your own Apple iCloud account, not ours. What we hold, we hold on machines we own — which is exactly what we'd tell you to do.

Three decades turning emerging technology into how organizations actually run: chairing Morgan Stanley's post-9/11 disaster-recovery response, steering enterprise migrations at Deutsche Bank, leading digital-asset product delivery at BNY Mellon — the world's largest custody bank — and most recently running operations at MPCH, a privacy-technology firm at the intersection of applied AI and data sovereignty. At Praxis, Adam operates as a one-person executive team directing fleets of AI agents in place of engineers: a subscription product live across three Apple platforms, a three-app claims suite, two tabletop apps, a character folio for players and a table screen for the Game Master, Odyssey, a reading and math game for grades 3 to 8 on iPad, iPhone and in any browser, thirteen published papers, and a privacy consulting practice — all shipped in months. His thesis: the next great companies will be small, sovereign, and AI-operated. Praxis is the proof in progress.
