FOR THE HOMEOWNER
When something happens to your home, your claim is only as strong as the record you build in the first days. LossList walks you through building that record — room by room, item by item, question by question.
It is self-help documentation software. You operate it; it does not act for you.
LossList is the homeowner’s end. The sealed file it produces is what a public adjuster opens in ClaimForge — and sending it costs nothing.
Each kind of loss gets its own interview — wind and hail, water, flood, fire and smoke, theft, vandalism, lightning — asked one at a time, in plain language, with big buttons, and you can go back to change an answer.
Built for the kind of loss you actually had, so nothing is forgotten and remembered too late. Answers save as you go, so you can stop and finish later.
A “no damage there” is recorded with the date you checked, so your file shows the check was made.
Photos, receipts, serial numbers, where and when you bought it. Start typing and the item suggests itself. Photos you take in the app are stamped with where and when they were taken.
The store, date and amount fill themselves in, and the receipt image stays attached as evidence.
Photograph it and LossList transcribes the named fields for you to correct. The photo is not saved.
No account, no server, no analytics. The only thing the app sends is a barcode you scan, to look up an item, aside from Apple’s own purchase check.
When you are ready, the record leaves in whichever form you need.
Encrypted so only someone with the security code can open it; you read the code to your adjuster separately. Sending it is free.
A complete PDF you can read, print and send to your carrier yourself. Re-export as often as you update the claim. Each item is numbered, and its photos and receipts carry the same number.
Requires an iPhone or iPad on iOS 18 or later. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see payment details. LossList on the App Store ↗ · LossList support
It does not contact your insurance company or file anything on your behalf.
It never tells you what any of it means for your claim. For representation, consult a licensed public adjuster or attorney.
It records what you paid for a thing, when you know it, and never what it is worth today. There is no replacement cost, depreciation or claim total anywhere in it; that arithmetic is your adjuster’s.
