FOR THE PUBLIC ADJUSTER

The inspection arrives.
The claim assembles itself.

A sealed roof inspection opens into a working claim file — contents, interview, scope and valuation in one place, with nothing re-typed on the way in.

You decide every number in it.

How it works

ClaimForge is the desk end of the same claim. It opens the homeowner’s LossList file and the roof inspection, and produces one report for the carrier.

Roofing Expert is a standalone field app that can send to either office Roofing Expert sits on its own between the two offices it can feed, belonging to neither. The dotted lines are what say so: they are destinations it may send a finished inspection to, not a pipeline it is part of. Tapping Send to Public Adjuster hands the sealed inspection to a public adjuster working in ClaimForge, who also opens the homeowner's LossList file and assembles one report for the carrier. Sending to office hands it to the roofing company's own office, where the same app with admin rights collects every crew report in one place and exports the finished report on the company's letterhead, for the company to send to whoever it chooses. A solid line runs back from that office to the field carrying review notes, solid because it always happens rather than optionally. The homeowner's file is sealed and opens only with the security code its sender reads out, and so is an inspection sent to a public adjuster. An inspection sent to a roofing company's own office stays inside that company. Nothing about a claim or an inspection is uploaded to us: the apps have no accounts and no server of ours in the middle.

Two files in, one claim out

ClaimForge opens the homeowner’s LossList file and the Roofing Expert inspection, and assembles one report for the desk adjuster.

Contents, already itemized

Photos, receipts and serial numbers as the homeowner recorded them — imported, not retyped.

The scope drafts itself

The structural scope is drafted from what the inspector recorded: material, slopes, squares, storm corroboration, photos with GPS.

The interview, verbatim

The loss interview in the homeowner’s own account, kept as they gave it.

Opens with a code

Choose the file or drag it in, then enter the security code the sender read to you. The file is useless without it.

Files checked on import

Every file in a package is checked against the package’s own manifest as it opens, and the workspace says what that check found.

Provenance rides with it

A chip on the dashboard and a row in the report say which inspection the scope came from.

Suggestions, never verdicts

Replacement figures come with their source shown, and depreciation from published useful-life tables. Nothing enters the report unapproved.

Every line is a suggestion

Approve, adjust or override each one. RCV, depreciation and ACV total as you go. A suggested depreciation shows the arithmetic it came from, and says when the 80% limit applied.

Keyboard valuation

Arrow keys select, return approves, S suggests. Built for a desk, not a thumb.

Your sections stay yours

The coverage determination and the adjuster narrative are written by you. The app assembles facts; you adjust the claim. A conversation log keeps each call, voicemail and email, searchable across every claim, and stays out of the carrier report unless you include it.

The policy never enters

ClaimForge never receives, stores or interprets the policy. You request it from your client and make every coverage call yourself.

Multi-client dashboard

Every open claim with stat cards, so you can see where each one stands. When a claim is finished, close it, and remove its files from this device only when you choose to. Text follows your iPhone or iPad text-size setting. Updated for iPhone Duo.

Desk work on the Mac

A native Mac app: claim and report side by side in separate windows, keyboard review, drag a file in from Finder.

What this app does not do

It does not decide coverage

The policy never enters the app. Every coverage call is yours.

It does not price without showing its work

Each figure carries its source. If you disagree, you override it and the report follows you.

Nothing is uploaded to us

No server of ours sits in the middle of a claim. Purchases are handled by Apple.
