D20 Chair

The Game Master's screen for a table in the same room. Your players join from D20 Adventurers Folio, and the whole party lands in front of you.

See the whole party at once

Players read a short table code from your screen and join from their own Folio. Each hero's card appears on your board: name, class, level, and how they're holding up.

Exact hit points, spell slots and conditions reach your screen alone. The other players see a portrait, a name and whether a hero is healthy, bloodied or down.

The Chair: the full party on the board, four heroes on the rail and their tokens on the map.

Pass a note to one player

Open a hero's desk and write. The note goes to that player's device, and nobody else at the table sees it.

Call for a roll

Pick a save from the hero's own sheet, and share the DC or keep it to yourself. The call appears on the player's phone; they roll in their Folio's dice tray, and the result comes back to your screen.

Or roll quietly for them, and only you see the number.

Works for 1st and 2nd Edition heroes (the five classic saving throws) and for 5th Edition heroes (ability saves).

The player rolls in the Folio's 3D dice tray. The total lands on their desk on your screen.

Lay out the board

Put a map on the table from Photos or Files, or use a plain board. Move tokens, drop markers (shown or hidden from the players), and pass the turn around the table.

Pick up where you left off

End the table and the Chair keeps last evening's board, map and log, and remembers who sat at your table, so next week starts where this one stopped. Your maps stay in Your Maps.

Nothing leaves the room

No servers, no accounts, no sign-in. The Chair talks only to the devices at your table, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. What the Chair keeps, exactly.
