Where is my data stored? On your device. If you switch on iCloud sync, or send a report to a company you belong to, your reports are also stored in your own iCloud account — Apple’s, under your Apple Account. Two optional lookups reach out: finding a property on the map sends its address to Apple Maps, and checking storm history sends its location to two public weather services. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what leaves the device — the short version is: we never see your data, because we run no servers.
A report shows red flags — is something wrong? No. Flags mark fields that are still empty (like a claim number that hasn't been issued yet). Reports always save; flags clear as you fill things in.
Photos aren't GPS-stamped. Allow Location access (While Using) in Settings → Roofing Expert.
