Odyssey

A reading and math game for grades 3 to 8, disguised as thirty-six adventures, a full school year. Climb a mountain. Build a saber. Survive five nights on a space station. Keep a lighthouse where the log books don't add up.

Campaigns for a school year.

Every campaign is five missions, one a day, about twenty minutes each. Each one is a different world with its own guide, its own kind of campaign, and its own finale.

One guide. Many shapes.

Sitka is the companion. He changes form to fit each world and opens every campaign with "It's me again." He nudges when you're stuck, never lectures, and never talks down.

What a day looks like

Twenty minutes, three legs, and a rule that teaches the habit most kids never get taught: when you're stuck, flag it and move on. Flagged ones come back at the end with fresh eyes.

1
ReadA short field report, schematic, or keeper's log. The questions come first, so you read like a detective: two details, a word defined in the text, a why, and a main idea.
2
CalculateFive problems in the world's own terms: power budgets, blocks per row, lamp oil. The math is set to the grade the player picks, from grade 3 to grade 8.
3
Follow ordersOne multi-step task where the last step matters. Read every step before you act. One of them is a trap. It always is.
4
Learn firstEvery leg opens with a short briefing that teaches the skill with a worked example, so nobody is tested on something the day didn't teach.

Built to be handed to a school

The parts a teacher will ask about, all true of this build.

Collects nothing. No accounts, no sign-in, no ads. Progress lives only on the device it was played on.
Nothing about the child is ever sent. After the first load it fetches nothing but its own adventure files from praxis-hq.ai as they are opened, and works offline once they are in; nothing about the child is ever sent. It works in a car, a waiting room, or on a school guest network.
A parent area behind a code the parent sets.First-try rates by skill, second looks, time, and a plain-English read of where the ground is soft. Not a grade. Not an IQ.
Reports only when a parent sends one.A Send button opens the device's own share sheet or Mail with the report and an anonymous error log. Nothing goes anywhere until an adult taps Send.
Original characters and stories.Nothing borrowed. Every world, guide, and painting was made for this.
Optional, and meant to be.A day missed is just a day missed. Nothing counts against anyone.
